About the Gundam Wing TV Series
"They had returned to Earth... but it was not for peace... it was for WAR"
That pretty much sums up what Gundam Wing is about. The story begins in After Colony(AC) 195. This means that it has been 195 years since earth made the space colonies permanently inhabitable. The war and bloodshed on earth paused approximately in the year AC 175, and the leaders of the world established the United Earth Sphere Alliance. Everyone thought that the world was on the road to world peace, little did they know that the Alliance was actually an organization "cover-up"(I guess there are plenty of Nixons in the After Colony years) for the Romefeller Foundation. Gradually, the Alliance reveals itself as a military organization rather than a peace-keeping force. They begin to arm outer space and use the colonies to manufacture "mobile suits."
OZ, the "Red Army" within the Alliance, takes over the space colonies with these mobile suits and rules with a mighty iron grip. With the help of the scientists who designed the mobile suits, five super machines known as "GUNDAMS" were created. They were made of Gundamanium Alloy. Five special pilots were chosen and trained to handle these destructive machines and bring justice and real peace back to earth and space. In an effort to send the machines to earth undetected, the rebels concocted "Operation Meteor," a military plan to send the Gundams and their pilots to earth disguised as meteors. Once in the earth's atmosphere, the outer shell was to dissolve, exposing the Gundam's fighter plane form. This was to deceive the press and others into thinking that the meteor had burned up. The Alliance's OZ got wind of this plan and followed one of the "meteors" only to find Heero and Wing Gundam. Can the Gundams make it earth before being blown to smithereens?
