Relena Darlian, also Relena Peacecraft, is, at first glance, the daughter of Foreign Minister Darlian(pronounced Dor-lan). But, if you follow the series, it is revealed that Relena is infact the daughter of the Peacecraft family, former rulers of the Sanc(or Sank) Kingdom before it demise when the Alliance, seeing the dangerous rebellion that could be caused by the Peacecraft's promotion of total pacifism, attacked. Relena decides to return to Sanc and take on the role of being the lost nation's leader, Princess Relena Peacecraft. She fights to uphold her biological father's ideals, but meets much resistance from the Romefeller Foundation and Oz. In a desperate move to keep Sanc Kingdom alive, Relena agrees to become Romefeller's representative and becomes known as Queen Relena Peacecraft. She is eventually replaced by the returning Trieze Khushrenada.
