Each of the Gundam pilots have a different nationality. Heero is a Japanese Gundam pilot of 15 years. Heero is one of the few Gundam pilots lucky enough to have his Gundam upgraded, or, in his case, replaced. Heero begins with his Wing Gundam. He later gets the Wing Zero. Heero can be considered the leader of the Gundams. He was raised by Doctor/Professor J into a ruthless, merciless killing machine. He has one weak spot--Relena Darlian/Peacecraft. He eventually falls in love with her(although it's not obvious), and she begins to bring him back to humanity.
